Ingredients
  

• 1½ cups all-purpose flour

• 1 teaspoon baking soda

• ½ teaspoon baking powder

• ½ teaspoon salt

• 1 teaspoon cinnamon

• ½ teaspoon nutmeg

• 2 ripe bananas, mashed

• 1 cup pumpkin puree

• 2 eggs

• ¾ cup sugar

• ½ cup oil or melted butter

• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

• Optional: ½ cup chocolate chips or nuts

Instructions
 

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

    2. Prepare muffin pan with liners.

      3. Mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

        4. In another bowl, mix mashed bananas, pumpkin puree, eggs, sugar, oil, and vanilla.

          5. Combine wet and dry ingredients. Mix gently.

            6. Add chocolate chips or nuts if using.

              7. Fill muffin cups ¾ full.

                8. Bake for 18–25 minutes.

                  9. Cool before serving.

                    • Use ripe bananas for the best flavor.
                    • Do not overmix batter.
                    • Use pure pumpkin puree.
                    • Do not overbake muffins.
