Ingredients
  

• 1 cup rolled oats

• 1 cup all-purpose flour

• 1/2 tsp baking powder

• 1/2 cup peanut butter

• 1/2 cup granulated sugar

• 1/4 cup brown sugar

• 1 egg

• 1 tsp vanilla extract

• 1/2 cup chocolate chips

• Optional: 1/4 cup chopped nuts or dried fruits

Instructions
 

1. Heat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    2. Combine oats, flour, and baking powder in a mixing bowl.

      3. In another bowl, beat peanut butter, sugars, egg, and vanilla until smooth.

        4. Gradually combine wet and dry ingredients, mixing gently.

          5. Fold in chocolate chips and optional ingredients.

            6. Scoop dough into balls and place on a tray; flatten slightly.

              7. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges turn golden. Let the cookies rest on the tray for 5 minutes, then carefully move them to a wire rack to cool completely.

                • Avoid excessive mixing, as it helps the cookies remain soft and tender.
                • Use room-temperature ingredients for better mixing.
                • Chill the dough for thicker cookies.
