• 2 cups cooked chickpeas

• 1 tablespoon cooking oil

• 1 medium onion, finely chopped

• 3 garlic cloves, minced

• 1 teaspoon grated ginger

• 2 medium tomatoes, finely chopped

• 2 tablespoons tomato puree

• 1 teaspoon garam masala

• 1 teaspoon cumin powder

• 1 teaspoon paprika

• ½ teaspoon turmeric powder

• ½ teaspoon chili powder

• ¾ cup heavy cream or coconut milk

• Salt according to your taste

• Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions
 

1. Carefully warm oil in a large pan over medium heat.

    2. Add chopped onions and cook until soft and lightly golden.

      3. Stir garlic and ginger gently until wonderfully fragrant and aromatic.

        4. Add chopped tomatoes and tomato puree into the cooking pan carefully.

          5. Mix all spices thoroughly until flavors blend evenly with the tomato mixture.

            6. Simmer the masala sauce until thick, rich, and deeply flavorful throughout.

              7. Add the chickpeas and gently coat them in the creamy curry sauce.

                8. Pour cream or coconut milk for a smoother texture and balanced flavors.

                  9. Simmer the curry briefly until everything becomes hot and perfectly creamy.

                    10. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving warm alongside rice or naan.
