Ingredients
  

• 1½ cups all-purpose flour

• ½ teaspoon baking powder

• ¼ teaspoon baking soda

• ¼ teaspoon salt

• ½ teaspoon cinnamon powder (optional)

• ½ cup unsalted butter, softened

• ½ cup brown sugar

• ¼ cup granulated sugar

• 1 egg

• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

• ½ cup mixed candied fruits

• ¼ cup raisins

• ¼ cup chopped dates

• ¼ cup dried cranberries

• ¼ cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Instructions
 

1. Preheat the oven and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

    2. In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.

      3. Beat the butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

        4. Add the egg and vanilla extract, then mix until smooth and well combined.

          5. Add the dry mixture to the wet mixture and stir gently until combined.

            6. Fold in candied fruits, raisins, dates, cranberries, and chopped nuts.

              7. Scoop the dough onto the tray, leaving space between each cookie, then bake until lightly golden. Cool before serving.
