  • Measuring Cups and Spoons
  • Whisk or Spatula
  • Sifter or Fine Mesh Strainer
  • Loaf Pan
  • Pastry Brush
  • Oven
  • Cooling Rack
  • Knife

Ingredients

• 3 ripe bananas, mashed well

• 2 large eggs

• 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup

• 1/3 cup plain yogurt

• 1/4 cup olive oil

• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

• 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour

• 1 teaspoon baking soda

• 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder

• 1/4 teaspoon salt

• Add 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or chocolate chips if desired

Instructions

1. Lightly grease your loaf pan after preheating the oven properly.

    2. Mash ripe bananas smoothly inside a large mixing bowl before adding ingredients.

      3. Add eggs, yogurt, honey, oil, and vanilla to the mashed bananas.

        4. Stir wet ingredients gently until the mixture looks smooth and fully combined.

          5. Mix flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt in another bowl separately first.

            6. Slowly combine the dry ingredients into the wet mixture without overmixing the batter excessively.

              7. Stir chocolate chips or walnuts gently into the banana bread batter.

                8. Evenly spread the batter inside the loaf pan using a spatula.

                  9. Bake until golden brown, and the toothpick comes out clean.

                    10. Let the banana bread cool properly before serving it warm with your drinks.

                      Notes

                      • Choose overripe bananas for soft texture and rich, sweet banana flavor.
                      • Too much mixing can make banana bread dense and heavy inside.
                      • Use the spoon-and-level method for accurate flour measurement while baking.
                      • Cool the banana bread completely before cutting clean serving slices.
                      • Store leftover bread inside airtight containers to maintain moisture and freshness longer.
                      • Freeze individual slices separately for quick breakfasts or healthy snacks anytime, easily.
