Ingredients
  

• 4 medium carrots, julienned

• 3 garlic cloves, minced

• 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

• 1 tablespoon white vinegar

• 1 teaspoon sugar

• 1 teaspoon salt

• 1 teaspoon coriander powder

• ½ teaspoon chili flakes

• ½ teaspoon black pepper

• 1 small onion, sliced thinly

Instructions
 

1. Wash, peel, and slice carrots into thin, crunchy julienne strips.

    2. Place carrots inside a large mixing bowl before seasoning everything evenly.

      3. Add garlic, salt, sugar, coriander, pepper, and chili flakes evenly.

        4. Add vinegar to carrots and stir ingredients together until fully mixed.

          5. Heat oil in a small pan over medium heat carefully.

            6. Add sliced onions and cook lightly until fragrant and slightly softened.

              7. Pour hot onions and oil directly onto the seasoned carrot mixture.

                8. Toss everything well until carrots absorb the seasonings evenly and beautifully.

                  9. Chill the covered salad before serving for a bold and richer flavor.

                    10. Serve chilled beside grilled meats, rice dishes, or sandwiches during meals.
