Ingredients
  

• 2 cups powdered sugar

• 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)

• 2–3 tablespoons milk or cream

• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

• Food coloring (optional)

• Pinch of salt (optional)

Instructions
 

1. Place softened butter in a mixing bowl. Beat until smooth.

    2. Gradually add powdered sugar while mixing.

      3. Add milk slowly. Mix until smooth and creamy.

        4. Add vanilla extract. Mix well.

          5. Adjust consistency using milk or powdered sugar.

            6. Add food coloring if desired. Mix evenly.

              7. Spread or pipe frosting on cooled cookies.

                • Use room temperature butter for best results.
                • Sift powdered sugar to avoid lumps.
                • Add liquid slowly to control consistency.
                • Gel food coloring works best.
                • Do not overmix frosting.
